Josh Melnychuk is the Director of Investor Relations & Capital Markets at CPI Capital, where he works directly with investors to facilitate access to the firm’s private real estate investment offerings. He plays a key role in capital formation by guiding investors through the full lifecycle of the investment process, including onboarding, Know Your Client, assessments, suitability analysis, and transaction execution.

In his role, Josh serves as a vital bridge between CPI Capital and its investors, leading communication, reporting, and relationship management efforts. As a primary point of contact, he ensures investors receive clear, timely updates and a seamless comfortable experience, while helping translate investment structures into straightforward, actionable insights. He works closely with the firm’s leadership team to align investor objectives with CPI Capital’s multifamily and build to rent strategies across the United States.

Prior to joining CPI Capital, Josh was an in-house Dealing Representative at Axcess Capital, where he advised high net worth clients on private market investments, including real estate, private lending, and alternative income strategies. He developed a strong foundation in exempt market transactions, regulatory compliance, and investor documentation.

Josh is known for his ability to build strong long term relationships. Outside of work, he is a husband and avid dog lover, often spending time with his corgi. He enjoys golf, fitness, and hockey, and is a passionate sports fan. Earlier in his career, he hosted a wine podcast, reflecting his natural ability to connect with people, something that has been central to every job he’s ever held.
